Ban Xia


The tubers of this plant have been used in traditional Chinese medicine to fight conditions characterized by dampness and phlegm. Historically used to regulate the upward flow of chi and to control vomiting. Low Dose Botanical. Tropical green foliage bursts forth in early spring with unusal leaves. Beautiful in the Shade Garden, it prefers shade and good drainage.  Perennial Hardy to zone 6.
