Native to the mountains of Tibet, Afghanistan, India, Bhutan and Pakistan and sometimes found at elevations as high as 14,000 feet, this rare beauty of a salvia can withstand serious weather! Large pointed leaves send up tall stems up to 3 feet with signature yellow blooms with veins of maroon/purple. This sage has been used medicinally in Tibetan traditional medicine and has a high resin content in the leaves. Very showy and a unique addition to your Salvia collection.
